HISTORY OF STRAW

Straw is a very useful thing. Drinking milk or juice with a straw patio more enjoyable. Besides drinking, straw can be used to playing the soap bubbles. Even a straw can be used to make Crafts hand. Before the discovery of a straw-made, people use straw from wheat grass material or of glass materials. The inventor of the first artificial straw was a cigarette paper factory owner named Marvin Stone. In 1888, he created a straw-based paper. This paper straws are made in a way that is quite unique. The paper is wound on a pencil to form a pipe. Furthermore, this paper glued together. However, a straw-based paper is not impervious to wet. Marvin Stone perfected his invention by using manila paper which is coated with paraffin. Creates a waterproof straw. Mervin Stone also determine the ideal size for a straw.
